About Him
Because my laundry basket is full to the brim. I'm also pretty hungry and need someone to cook for me. In return you'll get romance between 12.15 and 12.30 p.m. every Sunday.
I'm an adventurous, fun-loving guy with a lot of love to give, but I'm still looking for someone to share all the fun with - like walking on the beach in the rain or sleeping in late on a sunny day.
I work in a creative business, although not one where I use my hands and therefore grab every opportunity to be creative at home (e.g. growing dahlias, building a new display cabinet for my African masks or building a new rig for my underwater camera).
I like maps (maybe not a reason to get to know me, but still). I also like checking out whether they correspond to reality - that's why I prefer walking whenever I visit a new place (can't afford helicopter rides). Cairo is a favourite, Damascus used to be. Kinshasa less so although it could be described as interesting.
I've worked abroad, most of the time in the UK and Afghanistan. I like meeting new people, experiencing different ways of life and seeing things I never knew existed. I love Africa - and Cape Town even though it's more like Europe. Not a big fan of Jo'burg, even though it is Africa...

She should be a fun-loving, intelligent and beautiful (in my eyes) woman with a great sense of humour. Someone who enjoys travelling and the great outdoors. It wouldn't hurt if you're adventurous. But you don't necessarily have to want to marry me during a skydive - an adventurous mind is just as exciting!
My favourite clothing is black rubber - but don't get any funny ideas, mate. Not in bed! (Unless you ask me VERY nicely AND fix breakfast)
When I'm not working I like to pursue activities such as skydiving, snowboarding, sandboarding, wakeboarding, white-water rafting and scuba diving. And I just started skiing again after a 15-year break.
