Please have a recent pic - no pics no response! As in the "live" dating scene, appearance makes for first impressions and profile pictures are essential if you'd like me to respond. I am slim, fit and take care of myself and prefer a partner to be on the same track. Large bear bellies hold no attraction for me. Age is also an illusion - the actual years don't really matter. I enjoy a physical relationship but also like intimacy and caring within it. Not keen on one night stands anymore, a genuine connection is far more important.
I strongly believe in the synchronicity of life - there are few coincidences. Have a slightly off beat sense of humour and am very direct - I'm not into playing games, they are a waste of time. I have learned through experience that the ability to communicate is probably the most important criteria in any relationship - long or short term. Without it, there is nothing.
This is communication on all levels - spiritual, sexual, interests, work, sports and even disagreements and conflicts. If any of these levels are not there you lose your identity in trying to live in an empty space where your own character becomes one of compromise and eventually either becomes so frustrated you go mad, or you leave.
And then there is space to be who you are in an individual way - treating himself and others with respect. Each of us is an individual on one side, and part of a whole as well. I appreciate a man that can be himself and do his own thing, but then share himself completely as well. It would be great if you are articulate, have a high EQ and can spell! Must like animals - horses and cats feature in my life. Genuine and authentic count strongly!
I am looking for interesting and intelligent companionship - men who have a different spiritual outlook on life. Men who know who they are and what they want - both from life and from a companion. And men that don't need women as a crutch - rather in enhancing life experiences. Must be able to communicate, discuss and debate - not looking for a "controller" in my life, been there, done that!
But having said all this, at the end of the day there has to be chemistry - from both sides - so I do not have a rigid "profile" in my mind, if it's right we will know. I enjoy physical and emotional intimacy and love touching and being touched, but in the right place and at the right time.
I am not religious at all so don't force God on me - and "God Fearing" is a total non-starter.
