Briefly: I'm retired, intelligent, quiet, cultured, independent, faithful, and generally prefer listening to talking. I have (I'm told) a nice speaking voice, and am interested in all sorts of subjects from technology to science to astrology, numerology, healing, computers, what makes people tick. I don't look my age, and am generally taken for someone in their 50's. I have small pool and swim every day in Summer for fitness.
I am not into noisy environments, night-clubs, discos, pubs, crowds, beer drinking, or watching rugby or cricket. As a rule I don't watch TV during the day - there are better things to do in daylight (The Olympics or Wimbledon excepted)! I do watch a lot of DVD's or series in the evening.
I prefer one-on-one meetings, or maybe two or maximum three couples for a nice dinner in pleasant, romantic surrounding. I am always happy on the beach, near water, near the mountains, in the country. Although I like the outdoors, I am not the camping sort, as I like to sleep in a comfortable bed and have the home comforts.
I hate arguments. My partner and I should be able to work together to create a harmonious atmosphere. Trust and good open communication on all subjects is essential. Although I have a lot of likes and dislikes I am actually fairly easy-going and tolerant!
I like to spoil my partner with sensual massages and do little things to show her I care. I respond to affection.

Someone who intelligent, outgoing, attractive, "girl-next-door" looks, pleasant voice, tolerant, capable, well-organised, honest, direct, calm, positive and faithful. I like a nice figure with curves in all the right places. A few extra pounds is fine. I prefer petite women. You are comfortable in jeans, shorts & a T-shirt; but look good in a dress or skirt.
An open mind, common sense and good general knowledge is a decided plus. Personal cleanliness is high on my list!
Must not be too materialistic. A "New Age" type of spiritual outlook, and/or interest in astrology and holistic healing is preferred. You are definitely not closed-minded, and are always interested in expanding your knowledge or abilities. You are positive and have a warm personality.
Preferred age group would be about 40-58 as I've always preferred my partner to be quite a bit younger than myself. Given my age, I'd prefer you to have either none or adult children. You are independent and preferably have your own home. At times, you are happy to spend time on your own or with your female friends. Not emotionally complicated and easy to spend time with, you are comfortable with who you are and understand and like men. Since I am a little reserved, I'd like someone who is sensual and quite affectionate. I enjoy a good conversation but it must not be one-sided ie not someone who talks continuously without giving the other person a chance!
You enjoy the simple pleasures in life - walks, sunsets, romantic dinners either at home or out, movies/TV, music, singing or guitar, beach, swimming, good company, time with your partner, tea out in the country. You can be sporty (racket sports, water-sport?) or not, but if not, you should at least like regular walks on the beach. A bonus would be someone who is musical or has a nice singing voice.
